TERMS OF SERVICE — TINY HOUR TALES

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of tinyhourtales.com (the “Site”) and any purchases from Tiny Hour Tales (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2) MEMBER ACCOUNTS

– We provide member accounts using email login.

– You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3) PRODUCTS ARE VINTAGE / SECOND-HAND

You acknowledge that our products are vintage/second-hand. Normal signs of age and use may exist (hairline scratches, patina, minor marks, strap wear, dial aging, plating wear, etc.). We describe items in good faith and provide photos, but appearance may vary due to lighting and screen settings.

4) AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE

We guarantee the authenticity of our watches.

If you reasonably believe an item is not authentic, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence. We may request an independent assessment from a qualified watchmaker or an authorized service center (where feasible). If the item is confirmed not authentic, we will provide a full refund after the item is returned and inspected in the same condition as delivered.

5) PRICES & CURRENCY (IDR / USD)

– Prices may be displayed in IDR and/or USD for convenience.

– Checkout and payment processing are handled in IDR through our payment partner. If USD is shown, it is an estimate and may differ from bank exchange rates, fees, or card network rates.

6) ORDERS, ACCEPTANCE & CANCELLATION

– Placing an order is an offer to purchase.

– We may cancel orders in cases such as suspected fraud, stock unavailability (one-of-one items), or obvious pricing/technical errors. If payment has been made, we will refund accordingly.

7) PAYMENTS

Payments are processed through a third-party payment service. Your payment may be subject to the provider’s processing rules and verification steps.

8) INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We ship internationally using available couriers (JNE/J&T/Pos Indonesia and their supported international networks/routes).

– Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs, peak seasons, weather, and carrier constraints.

– Import duties, taxes, and destination fees (if any) are the buyer’s responsibility.

9) MANDATORY UNBOXING VIDEO FOR CLAIMS

A continuous unboxing video (no cuts) is mandatory for arrival-related claims including:

– wrong item received,

– missing items/parts,

– visible shipping damage,

– material mismatch noticed on arrival.

Without an unboxing video, we may be unable to approve arrival-condition claims.

10) NO CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

We do not accept change-of-mind returns. Returns are only available for:

– verified authenticity issues (Section 4),

– verified “not as described” or undisclosed defects reported within the claim window (Section 11),

– movement warranty cases (Section 12), subject to the warranty terms.

11) 7-DAY CLAIM WINDOW (ARRIVAL / NOT-AS-DESCRIBED)

You must contact us within 7 days of delivery for:

– wrong item/missing item claims,

– arrival damage claims,

– material mismatch with the listing description.

Required: unboxing video + clear photos. If a claim is approved, we will provide a fair remedy which may include repair or a full refund (see Shipping & Refund Policy for operational details).

12) 6-MONTH MOVEMENT WARRANTY (FUNCTION ONLY)

We provide a 6-month movement warranty starting from the delivery date.

Covered:

– Movement failure that prevents normal operation, subject to reasonable vintage tolerance.

Not covered:

– Water/moisture damage.

– Damage from drops/impact, misuse, neglect.

– Unauthorized repairs or third-party servicing.

– Cosmetic wear (scratches, patina changes, strap wear, plating wear).

– External environmental causes (e.g., magnetization).

– Battery depletion as normal wear (for quartz), unless the issue is proven to be a defect in the movement.

13) WATER RESISTANCE DISCLAIMER

Water resistance is not guaranteed for vintage/second-hand watches. Avoid water exposure unless we explicitly state a documented pressure test result.

14) OPTIONAL SERVICES & MODIFICATIONS

We offer services such as chain adjustment, polishing, plating, battery replacement, and strap replacement.

– These services may alter the item’s original finish and are performed at the customer’s request.

– Service orders may be treated as final once the service has been performed.

– Warranty coverage does not include issues caused by requested modifications or third-party handling.

15) INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Site content (photos, text, branding) belongs to Tiny Hour Tales and may not be used commercially without written permission.

16) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

17) FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, major outages, government restrictions, strikes, etc.).

18) GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes should be resolved amicably first. If unresolved, disputes may be brought in Solo, Indonesia, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
